Writing Coach Services

A strong college essay showcases a student’s strengths, interests, aspirations, and personality. Most students benefit greatly from strategic guidance and encouragement, and that starts with a coach who takes the time to understand them and their unique gifts!
Our Jump Start Package offers a personalized one-on-one approach. In our first session, we get to know the student and start to set up a foundational plan for them to write their college essays and related application materials with confidence. Along the way, we focus on building vital writing skills that will serve them well far beyond the application process.
This package includes four hours of one-on-one coaching, which can be used flexibly between in person or video sessions and written feedback on drafts. Students will also be guided to complete two to three hours of independent work on their materials in between meetings. This is a big project and we’ll work together to get it done right.

If you already have a draft and would simply like feedback and constructive comments, this is your opportunity. You’ll receive detailed, personalized suggestions to help refine your content, strengthen your voice, and ensure your essay aligns with what admissions committees are looking for. Both written and live feedback are given for each draft.

If you’re looking for a personalized, long-term approach to writing support, we offer extended coaching packages tailored to your student’s needs. This option is ideal for students who want to build confidence and strengthen their academic writing skills over time. School assignments, applications for scholarships, and capstone projects are all fantastic opportunities to improve student skills in planning, outlining, draft revision, and polishing. Writing well will contribute to every student’s academic success!
